Autoclave-sterilizable Solotex
Autoclaving (AC) is a sterilization method that is human-friendly but hard on clothes. Our Solotex sterilized clothes not only retain the soft texture but also are stable for hydrolysis with yellowing resistance. The fabric and the components, such as zippers, elastic cords, and sewing threads, are all durable. This is the standard for the ages to come.
Goldwin is researching and developing not only the maintenance of environmental cleanliness in bio-clean rooms but also high-performance products with durability and comfort under the theme contamination control of humans and clothing. With these next-generation product lines and our solutions based on entirely new concepts, we contribute to the cleaning of customers' work environments.
 Autoclavable Solotex
Maintaining superior quality even after repetitive autoclave-sterilization processes
Solotex, an ideal fabric that defies common knowledge, establishes a new standard.
he new autoclavable Solotex material is the first synthetic fiber employing PTT (polytrimethylen-terephthalate) (3GT), which is a polycondensate of n-propanediol and terephthalic acid as the main ingredient.
The state-of-the-art chemical technology realized a feature missing in conventional polyester fabrics (PET).
Solotex is a fabric that combines the physical and chemical properties of a surprisingly soft feel; a high degree of elongation recovery force; and superior yellowing, weathering, and chemical resistance in a balanced manner at a high level.
Particle Emissions

Unlike conventional autoclavable material (polyester fiber) whose particle emissions increased rapidly, Solotex does not emit significantly increased amounts of particles even after repetitive autoclave sterilization processes. The material sustains its dust prevention function.
Transverse Tear Strength

Conventional autoclavable materials sacrificed weight and texture for strength. Solotex is stable for hydrolysis and its strength does not deteriorate significantly
Fabric Texture

Solotex retains its soft texture even after being autoclave-sterilized 100 times. Unlike conventional polyester fibers (PET), Solotex does not generate sharp creases and many wrinkles.
Zippers and Elastic Codes

With the adoption of Solotex, we developed a special zipper dedicated for sterilized clothes with an infinitely higher level of durability for autoclaving. This zipper will move smoothly even after repetitive autoclave sterilization processes. And, the special elastic cords increase durability.
Sewing Thread Strength

We use highly durable machine sewing threads for Solotex. Compared to conventional threads, it can retain the strength of the seams and the elongation of the sewing thread.
