On June 4, Yuichiro Miura, who recently became the oldest person to successfully scale Mt. Everest, visited GOLDWIN’s head office, accompanied by his second son, Gota.

Looking tanned and healthy, Yuichiro spoke to the GOLDWIN staff: “Thanks to your support and encouragement, I successfully climbed to the summit of Mt. Everest at 80 years and 224 days. With the help of the world’s best gear made by GOLDWIN, The North Face, and all of you here, I succeeded in becoming the oldest person to reach the tallest mountain in the world. Thank you very much!!”

GOLDWIN was an official supplier of the Miura Everest 2013 Project and provided The North Face wear and gear.
