通常「スケートボード」と聞くと、スケート文化とスケーターのステレオタイプなイメージが真っ先に思い浮かぶだろう。しかし、スケーターであるライアンとジャレドの存在、そして彼らがつくるスケートボードはどれもイメージを覆すものだ。一枚板またはいくつかの異なる木片をあわせたリサイクル木材から、形を変えたりサイズに合わせて削るなどしてボードをつくるのだ。そうすることで、非常にクラシックでありながら型破りな木製スケートボードが完成する。

Usually when you think of skateboarding, the image of skate culture and a typical skater is quite concrete. However, Ryan and Jared are not your typical skaters, nor do they make typical skateboards. They make their boards from recycled wood, either from a single plank or several different pieces fused together, reshaped and shaved down to size. The result is a very classic yet unconventional wooden skateboard.
