ワカティプ湖と美しいリマーカブルズ山脈を見渡すなら、を見逃すことはできない。地球にやさしいサステナブルなホテルを創業したのは、サム・チャップマンとその友人たち。ここではソーラーパネルを使って自家発電し、敷地内のガーデンで育てた新鮮な旬の野菜をレストランで使用している。旅行者や地元の人々は、美味しい食べ物、心地良い音楽、ウェルネスプログラムを求めて集っている。

エインズレイ・トンプソンはシェフ、菜食者、２児の母親であり、Sherwood Hotelのレストランの料理長として環境にやさしい旬の料理を提供している。ウェリントン出身であるエインズレイとその夫は、サムとその友人とともにSherwood Hotelでレストランを始めるため、クイーンズタウンに引っ越してきた。

Overlooking Lake Wakatipu and the beautiful Remarkables range, you will not miss Sherwood Hotel. Sam Chapman is one of the four friends that created this sustainable hotel. Sherwood generates its own energy from their solar power panels, and its restaurant harvests much of its fresh, seasonal produce from the garden on-site. Sherwood’s community of travelers and locals alike, gather together over good food, music and a selection of wellness programs.

Ainsley Thompson, chef, forager and busy mother of two, is the head chef of the seasonal and sustainable-focused restaurant at Sherwood Hotel. Originally from Wellington, Ainsley and her husband moved down to Queenstown to start the restaurant at Sherwood with Sam and his three friends.
